Disassembly Procedure

1.

Remove the screws

 (x 10) securing the Bottom Case. (

Remove screw

 (x 1) securing the Top Cass Assy to the Bottom Case.

3.

Lift the Top Cass Assy slowly while sliding it, disconnect the flat cable 
(1 location) connected to the Panel Board.

* Open the Top Case Assy carefully, because the flat cable used here is short. 

Also, the lock-type connector is only used on the Main Board side.

Attaching the Speakers

1.

Set the Speakers on the Bottom Case.

Secure the Speaker Grill to the Bottom Case using the screws

* Make sure that the speaker wirings do not touch the Speaker Grill.

Solder the speaker wirings.

 are printed on the circuit board. Solder the red speaker 

wirings to 

 and the black speaker wirings to 

. If these wirings are 

soldered to the opposite locations, correct sounds are not produced.

Affixing the Acetate Tape

Affix the acetate tape (#40122812) so as to cover the locations where the 
battery terminals and the wirings are soldered.

Replacing the Bender Board

When replacing the Bender Board, verify that the Bender Lever is 
inserted all the way into the Volume. If the Bender Lever is not inserted 
all the way, a problem such as faulty contact may be occurred.

Soldering of the Pressure Sensor

When soldering the pressure sensor to the Sensor Board, comply with the 
following temperature conditions (temperature: 340 degrees C or 644 
degrees F, time: 2 seconds). Be sure to comply with these conditions, 
otherwise the some parts might be melted. Also, give attention to orient 
the sensor.

Connecting the Wirings

When connecting the wirings to the Main Board, carry out in sequence 
below.

1.

Connect the wirings (#5100073920) from the Pressure Board to the 
connector (CN12) on the Main Board.

2.

Connect the wirings (#5100073921) from the Bender Board to the 
connector (CN8) on the Main Board.

3.

Connect the wirings (#5100073922) from the Menu Board to the connector 
(CN2) on the Main Board.

4.

After connecting them, push them into the notch of the Main Board.
