Advanced Menu
The Advanced menu allows you to back up and restore your configuration, specify router settings
such as DHCP, port filtering, and port forwarding, and to customize power management settings.
The Advanced menu has seven components:

Advanced Options
— Enable SSID broadcast, auto-connect to the network, DHCP, VPN
passthrough, or view the system log.
•
Config File
— Back up or restore a file containing your device settings.
•
Port Filtering
— Specify which applications can access the Internet and through which
port(s).
•
Port Forwarding
— Specify which applications can access your computer through the
Internet and through which port(s). You might use this if you have an FTP server on your
system or play certain online games.
•
Power Management
— Customize your device’s power-saving settings.
•
TCP/IP
— View or change the IP address and subnet mask for your device, and to view the
MAC address and DHCP address range for your device.
•
System Status
— View information about your device and to view the system log. You can
also restart your device or restore it to its factory default settings.
