5.2.1 Part Contours
With the Teach Object Wizard, the Vision System will outline features with a blue or red contour.
During wizard step 2 and 3: Photos & Scan
When taking the background photo, you should see your background contour outlined with a blue line an centered with a cross. This means the
background was recognized properly.
When taking the part photos in the Photos, you should see:
Part contour and recognized features outlined with blue lines.
Features spotted on one photo but not on the actual one will be outlined with red lines.
During wizard step 4: Test and Save
When testing the localization of parts
Part contour and recognized features outlined with blue lines.
Features spotted on one photo but not on the actual one will be outlined with red lines.

Blue contour should match the part shape at all time, features withing the part may or may not be recognized.

When doing the localization test, place your part all over the workspace, due to perspective effects, the part feature may not be
recognized at some points. If you have an important feature to be match for your application (a hole for example), make sure it is
found everywhere. Again, blue contour should be match at all time.
