SECTION 7: OPTIONAL HEATER ACCESSORIES
7.1 U-Tube Confi g uration
Heaters (except CTH2V-40) are appro v ed for optional
U-T u be config u rations.
The U-T u be may be installed in either a standard hor-
izontal position, a 45° position or in an opposite 45°
position as sho
w n on Page 7, Figure 7 through Figure
9 . When u sing a U-T u be config u ration, the follo w ing
additional r u les m u st be adhered to:
• A minim u m of 10' (3 m) on CTH2V-60/80 and a
minim u m of 15' (4.5 m) on CTH2V-100/125/150/
175 is req u ired bet w een the b u rner and the U-
T u be.
• The correct t u rb u lator ( See Page 22, Figure 6.4 )
m u st be installed in the last standard section of
t u be.
• The b u rner m u st ne v er be operated in a tilted posi-
tion.
• The heater m u st be properly s u pported at all loca-
tions. See Page 28, Figure 20 .
