Cycle pins in and out several times to check for
clearance between the pins and the pivot blocks. To
extend the pins, press and release the Leveler
RAISE button. To retract the pins, press and release
the Lift DOWN button. If pins do not smoothly cycle
in and out of the pivot blocks, remove the pivot
blocks and begin again at step 2.
10. Lower the unit all the way down by pressing the Lift
DOWN button.
11. Turn power off and lockout/tagout the control box.
Cover any exposed weatherseal and the pivot pins
with flame resardant material.
12. Weld pivot blocks as shown in Figure 15B.
13. Install toe protectors as shown in Figure 15B.
14. Touch up pivot blocks and curb steel with RITE-
HITE gray spray paint. Disconnect and remove all
welding equipment.
15. Turn power on and raise the platform to dock height.
16. Engage the safety devices as described in the
following Danger.
17. Install lower fasteners on toe protectors from
underneath unit. See Figure 15B.

• Engaging the support latch by pulling the
activation chain and pressing and holding
the Lift DOWN button until the platform
stops decending as shown in Figure 2,
• Pulling the selector valve activation chain
out to prevent scissors movement as
shown in Figure 4,
• If lip needs to be extended, follow procedures
on page 6, Figure 5,
• Turning off power to the control box,
• Locking out and tagging out the main
power source, as shown under Safety
Warnings on page 4.
