Never be under the DUAL-DOK
®
platform or
lip without:
• Engaging the support latch by pulling the
activation chain and pressing and holding
the Lift DOWN button until the platform
stops decending as shown in Figure 2,
• Pulling the selector valve activation chain
out to prevent scissors movement as
shown in Figure 4,
• Turning off power to the control box,
• Locking out and tagging out the main
power source, as shown under Safety
Warnings on preceding page.
TO ENGAGE SUPPORT LATCH
1. Bring platform to dock floor height.
2. Pull activation chain in an upward motion to lower
support latch.
3. While holding the activation chain, press and hold
Lift DOWN button until platform stops descending.
4. Disconnect electrical power to the control box and
lockout/tagout per OSHA standards.

TO DISENGAGE SUPPORT LATCH
1. Reconnect electrical power to the control box.
2. Bring platform to dock floor height by pressing the
Lift UP button.
3. The support latch will automatically disengage.
4. Check lift operations to ensure proper
disengagement.
