CUSTOMIZE A PRESET BEACH

In the case where one of the 200 preset beaches isn’t your local beach you
can CUSTOMIZE the tide data for any of the 200 preset beaches to match
your beach.
-Firstly,  use  the  tide  set  procedure  above  to  preset  the  beach  closest  to
your beach.
-Then find the average time offset between the selected preset beach and your
beach. Eg. Bells plus 45 minutes equals my local beach.
-To activate CUSTOM setting, in TIDE mode press and HOLD LAP/RESET in for
2 seconds, OFFSET appears and a ZERO digit will flash.
-Use  START/STOP  &  LAP/RESET  to  increase  or  decrease  the  time  offset
till correct.
-Press MODE/SET to lock in your offset. The watch will then ask you to rename
the preset beach to the new beaches name.
-Use START/STOP & LAP/RESET to scroll through the alphabet and change
the selected letter.
-Press MODE/SET to move to the next letter.
-Once complete, HOLD MODE/SET in for 2 seconds to save all information

NOTE:

To leave the customized beach named as CUSTOM, put in the offset then

HOLD MODE/SET in for 2 seconds to save.

ALSO NOTE:

Once you have customized a preset beach, eg. Bells, that location

has been over written and will no longer appear in the watches’ beach list. To
return to the original beach name and tide data, you must be in TIDE MODE,
HOLD MODE/SET in for 2 seconds, the digits will flash, use START/STOP &
LAP/RESET to change the offset back to zero, HOLD MODE/SET in for 2 seconds
and the original beach name, ie Bells, will reappear in the screen.
