5. Holding the steel tube down with one hand,
squeeze the casting lever until there is a gap
of about 5mm (3/16") between the bottom
of the sealing rod locking collar and the top
of the stirring assembly bushing.
Set a 5mm gap between the locking collar and bushing.
6. Making sure the steel tube has not moved,
lightly tighten the sealing rod collar screw.
Lightly tighten the screw to hold the steel tube.
7. Using the sealing rod collar screw as a
handle, rotate the sealing rod assembly back
and forth three times to ensure the sealing
ball is well-seated in the crucible.
8. Re-check the gap. If the gap has altered,
loosen the collar screw, reset the gap to
5mm (

"), and re-tighten the collar screw.
