The device and probe covers are non-sterile. Do not use on
injured tissue.
To limit cross contamination, only use blue devices for taking
oral and axillary temperatures. To aid infection control, use ever
a separate probe cover box for blue and a separate for red probe.

tal and institutional policy for NiMH or Alkaline battery disposal.
Disposal of old battery-powered electronic equipment must be
consistent with institutional policy for expired equipment disposal.
Cleaning frequency and practices must be consistent with institu-
tional policy for cleaning of non-sterile devices.
