- Loosen by about two turns the pressure inlet screw upstream of
the gas valve and connect the pressure gauge.
On the control panel:
- bring the mode selector to (summer) mode
and the domestic
hot water temperature selector() to the maximum value.
- Power the boiler, setting the system main switch to “ON”.
- Fully open the hot water tap.
- With the burner at maximum output, check that the gas pressure is
between the minimum and the rated supply pressure values indi-
cated in the multi-gas table in the following page.

Turn off the hot water tap.

Disconnect the pressure gauge and tighten the pressure test point
screw again upstream from the gas valve.

COMBUSTION CHECK
- Install the "Flue gas analysis collection" kit in the straight pipe sec-
tion located after the exit from the hood, at least 400 - 500 mm from
the latter (as required by the regulations in effect); for installation,
follow the instructions supplied with the kit.

- Turn the main system switch to “OFF”.
- Bring the function selection switch to the mode
(summer) and
the water temperature selector to the maximum value.
- Power the boiler, setting the system main switch to “ON”.
- Fully open the hot water tap.
- The boiler will operate at maximum output and it will be possible to
regulate the combustion.
- When the analysis is completed, close the hot water tap.
- Remove the analyser probe and close the analysis inlet.
- Close the instrument panel and reassemble the shell in the reverse
order compared to the disassembly description.
When the checks are completed:
- Position the mode selector to (summer) mode or (winter) mode
based on the season

set the selectors in accordance with the Customer's requirements.
The
START KI boilers are supplied to operate with methane
gas (G20) and can be converted to LPG; they are already set at
the factory as indicated in the technical nameplate; therefore,
they do not require any calibration procedure.
All checks must be carried out exclusively by the Technical As-
sistance Service .
3 - IGNITION AND OPERATION
To start up the boiler it is necessary to carry out the following
operations:
- power the boiler
- open the gas tap to allow fuel flow
- Adjust the ambient thermostat to the required temperature (~20°C).
Turn the mode selector to the required position:
WINTER
turn the function selector to within the adjustment range. The
boiler produces domestic hot water and heating water. The boiler
lights automatically in response to a heat request. The digital
display indicates the heating water temperature. The boiler lights
automatically in response to a request for domestic hot water. The
display indicates the domestic hot water temperature.
ADJUSTMENT OF HEATING WATER TEMPERATURE
To adjust the heating water temperature, turn the mode selector to
within the adjustment range (turn clockwise to increase the value and
anticlockwise to reduce the value).
SUMMER
The standard domestic hot water-only mode is activated by turning
the selector to the summer symbol
. The boiler lights automatically
in response to a request for domestic hot water. The digital display
indicates the temperature of the domestic hot water.
