The display shows the outlet temperature of the heating water (fig.
3) and the domestic hot water (fig. 2) alternately to the preheating
status (P0 not active, P1 active - fig. 4).
ON-OFF PRE-HEATING MODE
: this function keeps the water in
the domestic hot water exchanger hot, to reduce standby times when
a request is made.
By turning the selector to this position it is possible to activate or de-
activate the pre-heating (P0 not active, P1 active - fig. 4) in summer
and in winter

fig. 2
fig. 3
When the operation is finished set the mode selector to the required
position (summer, winter or off).
The following conditions may occur when operating:
- If there is no heat request, the boiler will go into standby,
- if there is a heat request, the boiler starts and the flame comes on,
while the signal light is green and fixed (A - fig. 5).
fig. 5
A - green led boiler
status
B - red led failure
in progress
The display will show the temperature in the boiler or the domestic
hot water temperature depending on the request in progress.
The boiler will continue operating until the set temperatures are
reached, after which it will go into standby, in any event maintaining
the temperature displayed.
If there are any firing or operation faults, the boiler will make a “safety
stop”; on the control panel the green led will go out, the display will
show a flashing fault code and, in the event of a lockout also the red
led (B - fig. 5) will come on.
To identify the fault code and to reset the boiler, see the chapter “Dis-
play and fault codes”.
After a “safety stop”, wait about 10 seconds before restoring
the start-up conditions.
D - Adjusting the heating water temperature
To adjust the temperature of the heating water, turn the knob with the
symbol
(fig. 6): Turn clockwise to increase the temperature, or
anticlockwise to reduce it.
fig. 6
When turning the knob the display starts blinking, displaying the tem-
perature variation.
Depending on the type of system, the most suitable tempera-
ture range can be pre-selected:
- standard systems 40-80 °C
- floor installations 20-45°C.
E - Adjusting the heating temperature with
an external probe connected
If there is an external probe, the outlet temperature value is auto-
matically chosen by the system, which quickly adapts the ambient
temperature to any variations in the outdoor temperature.
If you want to alter the temperature value (increasing or reducing
the value automatically calculated by the electronic card), use the
heating water temperature selector: turn it clockwise to increase the
temperature, or anticlockwise to reduce it. The correction possibility
is between -5 and +5 levels of comfort, shown on the digital display
by rotating the knob.
F - Adjustment of the domestic hot water
temperature
To adjust the domestic hot water temperature (bathrooms, showers,
kitchen, etc.), turn the knob with symbol
(fig. 7): turn clockwise to
increase the temperature, or anticlockwise to reduce it.
fig. 7
When turning the knob the display starts blinking, displaying the tem-
perature variation.
The domestic hot water adjustment field is between 35 and 60 °C.
When selecting the temperature, for heating or hot water, the display
shows the value being selected. About 4 seconds after selection, the
change is stored and the display resumes the outlet temperature or
the temperature of the domestic hot water detected by the probe.
G - Temporary switch-off
In the event of temporary absences(weekends, short trips, etc.) set
the mode selector to
(off/reset) (fig. 8).
The digital display is as shown opposite ("- -") (fig. 9).
