FAULTS/SUGGESTED REMEDIES

The control box supplied performs a diagnostic role by means of which it is possible to easily identify the possible causes of any malfunctions
(signal: RED LED).
In order to use this function, it is necessary to wait at least ten seconds from the moment the control box is put in safety mode and press the lock-
out reset button for a minimum of three seconds.
Once the button has been released, the RED LED will start to flash, as illustrated in the diagram below.

The pulses of the LED constitute a signal spaced by approximately 3 seconds.
The number of pulses will provide the information on the possible faults, according to the table below.

of the MAX output to Min output

3 flashes

The burner starts up,
remains in pre-
purging and after 95
seconds goes into
lock-out

Minimum air pressure switch fails to close:
9 - Pressure switch fault . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Replace it

4 flashes

The burner does

not

start and the lock-out
appears after approxi-
mately 60 secs

14 - Flame presence at start  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Check the valve tightness
Minimum air pressure switch fails to open:
15 - Servomotor fault  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Replace it

temporary opening of the pressure switch itself, the
valve closes straight away and the burner halts.
The pressure starts to increase again, the pressure
switch closes again and makes the start cycle repeat once again. On so on.
