Description
Host Name
Enter the host name you want to set for the network interface board, using up to
63 characters. The default is RNP, followed by the MAC address of the active
interface board. If you change the name to other than the default, the new name
cannot begin with "RNP" or "rnp".
Domain Name
Enter the name of the domain to which the device belongs, using up to 63
alphanumeric characters.
Link-local Address
Displays the link-local address of the network interface board.
The link-local address applies only within the local network (local segment) and
begins with "fe80::", followed by an identifier generated from the MAC address
of the active interface board.
Stateless Address
Displays the stateless address for router.
Stateful Address
Displays the stateful address.

Configuration
Address
In the left box, enter the IPv6 address assigned for the network interface board.
In the right box, enter the prefix length of the IPv6 address, using a value
between 0 and 128. The default is 64.
• The following addresses cannot be set:
Link-local addresses, multicast addresses, loopback addresses, IPv4-
compatible addresses, and IPv4-mapped addresses
DHCPv6
Select [Enable] to use the DHCPv6 server to automatically configure the
network settings. Select [Disable] to manually configure the network settings.
DDNS
Select whether DDNS (Dynamic DNS) name resolution for the network interface
board is active or inactive.
When active, the DNS database is immediately updated.
