6. Troubleshooting
Service Call Conditions
Summary
There are 4 levels of service call conditions

Reset Procedure
A
Fusing unit SCs shown on the operation
panel. The machine is disabled. The user
cannot reset the SC.
Do SP5810 and press [#Enter].
When "execute" is displayed, press [#Enter]
again.
Press [Escape].
Turn the machine power off/on.
B
These SCs disable only the features that
use the defective item. The user does not
see these SCs in usual conditions. But,
they are shown on the operation panel
when the defective feature is used.
Set the main power switch to “off” then to
“on”.
C
SCs that are not shown on the operation
panel. They are recorded internally.
Recorded only.
D
These SCs are shown on the operation
panel. To reset these SCs, turn the
operation switch or main power switch
off and on. These SCs are shown again if
the error occurs again.
Set the operation switch or the main power
switch to “off” then to “on”.
• If the problem is with electrical circuit boards, disconnect the connectors first. Then reconnect the
connectors before you replace the PCBs.
• If the problem is with a motor lock, first examine the mechanical load. Then replace motors or
sensors.
