6.7.7 MASTER END SENSOR ADJUSTMENT
PURPOSE: To ensure that the sensor detects the end mark (a solid black area) on
the master roll.
CAUTION: 1) The sensor adjustment is required in the following cases:
- When the sensor is replaced.
- When the MPU is replaced.
2) If the sensor is dirty, clean or replace it.
3) For how to access the SP mode, refer to the Service Program
Mode section.
PROCEDURE:
1. Turn on the main switch, then access SP6-20-4 (Sensor Voltage and Threshold
Adjustment for Master End Sensor).
2. The sensor threshold value is displayed on the operation panel. Enter 0.5
(volts) with the number keys.
3. Leave the SP mode.
