USB 2.0 Interface Board Type A

The USB 2.0 interface board sup-
ports a USB connection between
the printer and a computer run-
ning Windows 98 SE/Me, Win-
dows 2000/XP, Mac OS 9.x or Mac
OS X Classic mode.

With Windows 98 SE/Me, be sure
to install USB Printing Support
from the CD-ROM provided with
the machine. When USB 2.0 is used
with Windows 98 SE/Me, only the
same speed as that of USB 1.1 is
possible.

Only the standard USB port is sup-
ported on a Macintosh

When using USB with a Macin-
tosh, only the same speed as that of
USB 1.1 is possible

Before handling the USB 2.0 inter-
face board, ground yourself by
