Setting the Time Exposure Mode
The time exposure mode is used when photographing
bright subjects such as fireworks and cars in a dark
place.

Set the mode dial to [
] and press the
MENU button.

Press the

button to select [TIME
EXPOSURE].

Press the

button to select the
exposure time (1 SEC., 2 SEC., 4 SEC., 8
SEC.) and press the ENTER button.

Press the MENU button.
Time exposure mode display will be displayed on
the LCD monitor.

Press the shutter release button.
Important
Note
• Mount the camera on a tripod,
etc., when using the Time
Exposure mode.

Note
• The time exposure mode
cannot be set in the auto
bracket mode.
• Enable the keep settings mode
to save the time exposure
mode setting. See “Keep
Settings” (p.121).

• To cancel the time exposure
mode, select [OFF].
