Recording Capacities
The table below gives approximate recording picture counts available by SmartMedia
memory card capacity and by picture quality/size.
Note
• The figures for SmartMedia cards of the same capacity may vary slightly depending on the type of card.
• Image quality (compression rate) is as follows.
F : Fine
N : Normal
E : Economy
NC : Non-compressed
• The internal memory is similar to an 8 MB SmartMedia memory card.
• Even when “1” is displayed as the number of recordable pictures in the Text mode, recording may not be
possible in some cases, depending on the subject.
