Red-Eye Reduction Mode

If you shoot a subject in a dark place with the flash
activated, the eyes of the subject may appear red in the

resultant picture. In red-eye reduction mode, the flash
will fire several times before the shutter releases to
lessen the red-eye phenomenon.

Set the mode dial to [

] and press the

MENU button.

Press the

 button to select

[REDEYE REDUCTION].

Press the

 button to select [ON] and

press the ENTER button.

Press the MENU button.

LCD monitor.

Press the shutter release button.

When you press the shutter release button, the
flash will fire several times in succession
preliminarily before firing when the shutter releases.
