If you are updating from firmware version 1.3 or earlier:
On the command line,
type:
rfd
This command restores all system settings (except for network settings) to their
factory-default values and restarts the system.

To verify that the new firmware is loaded, refresh the
MediaWall V
Web Interface
browser window, then click the
tab. Or, select
System Information
from the
main menu on the
MediaWall V
Front-Panel touch screen.
A.2.5 Restoring Settings
If you find it necessary to restore your
MediaWall V
configuration settings following a
firmware update, proceed as follows:
1.
Follow the steps for
Transferring Files to the MediaWall V Using FTP
to move the
exported settings back to the
MediaWall V
.
2.
Open a serial port or Telnet command session.
3.
Restore the saved settings from the PC using the
settingsimport
command.
