14. Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable and should not be disposed of in household waste. Dispose of the
product according to the applicable statutory provisions at the end of its service life.
Remove any inserted batteries from the remote control and dispose of it separately from the product.
b) Disposal of Flat Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries. Disposing of them
in the household waste is prohibited.
Batteries that contain any hazardous substances are labelled with the adjacent icon to indicate that
disposal in domestic waste is forbidden. The symbols for the respective heavy metal are: Cd = cadmium,
Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
You can return your used batteries free of charge to collection points in your municipality and anywhere
where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold. You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to
the protection of the environment.
15. Declaration of Conformity
