Wi-Fi AP/Repeater 2.4 GHz, for outdoor use

Intended use
The product is intended for creating a new network or expanding the existing one. It has 3
modes of operation: Access Point “
AP
”, Repeater and Router.
The “Access Point” mode provides a separate Wi-Fi access point. In this mode the product is
connected to your existing router or network by cable.
The “Repeater” mode serves to strengthen your existing Wi-Fi network and to expand the
coverage area. In this mode the Wi-Fi router is connected wirelessly using Wi-Fi.
The “Router” mode implies using your existing modem for the Internet connection of the de-
vices that are connected to the product. In this mode the product is connected to the modem
with a network cable.
In all modes of operation your devices can be connected to the product via Wi-Fi and, in case
of the Repeater mode, also via LAN.
Configuration can be carried out via the product‘s web interface. A computer, smartphone or
tablet can be used for this purpose.
The product is powered via the included power adapter and PoE adapter.
The product is suitable for indoor and outdoor use (IP65). However, the power adapter and PoE
adapter can only be used in indoor areas. Contact with moisture, for example, in bathrooms,
must be avoided.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product
for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as short circuit, fire or electric shock. Read the operating instruc

tions carefully and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third parties
together with its operating instructions.

Safety information
Read the operating instructions carefully and observe in particular the safety
instructions. If you do not follow the safety information and information on
proper handling in these operating instructions, we will assume no liability for
any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate
the warranty/guarantee.
a) Power adapter
• The design of the power adapter complies with Protection Class II. Only connect
the power adapter to a standard mains socket connected to the public supply grid.
• The mains socket must be located near the product and be easily accessible.
• Do not touch the power adapter if there are any signs of damage, as this may
cause a fatal electric shock!
• Fully disconnect the mains voltage for the mains socket to which the power adapter
is connected (e.g. turn off the corresponding circuit breaker or unscrew the fuse,
and then turn off the residual current circuit breaker). Only then disconnect the
power cord from the mains socket and take the product to a specialist workshop.
• Check the power adapter for damage before each use!
• If you detect any damage, DO NOT connect the product to the mains supply!
Danger of death!
• The power adapter and PoE adapter may only be used in dry, enclosed indoor
areas. They must be protected from moisture and dampness; never touch them
with wet hands!
• There is a risk of fatal electric shock!
b) General information
• This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets. An electric
shock can be life threatening!
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may
damage the product.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in the operating instructions,
please contact our technical department or third-party specialist.

Installation and connection
We recommend that you temporarily connect the product and configure it first. Then
choose a suitable mounting position for the product and mount it there.
In the instructions below you will encounter the terms such as “AP” (which means
the product), “PC” (comprises computers, laptops, MAC, etc.) and “tablet” (stands
for tablets, smartphones, iPads and iPhones, regardless of the manufacturer/oper-
ating system).
