INSTRUMENT PANEL
The presence and operation of the warning and indicator lights described below depend on the vehicle
equipment and country.
If one of the four warning lights
illustrated below lights up and a
message
appears
in
the
multifunction display, consult the
paragraph below.
Handbrake and brake fluid
level warning light
- Handbrake function: with
the ignition on, it lights up when
the handbrake is applied.
- Brake fluid level function: if it
lights up when the handbrake is
not applied, this indicates a drop
in the level in the braking circuit
or brake pad wear. It may be
dangerous to continue driving.
Call a Renault Dealer.
Anti-lock braking warning
light
This
light
comes
on
when the ignition is switched on
and goes out within approximately
3 seconds. If it lights up with the
STOP message, you must stop
immediately. Call a Renault Dealer.
Warning
light
for
monitoring exhaust gas
This light comes on when
the ignition is switched on and goes
out as soon as the engine starts.
If it lights up continuously, consult
your Renault Dealer as soon as
possible.
If it flashes, reduce the engine speed
until the light stops flashing.
Consult your Renault Dealer as soon
as possible.

the
information
on
anti-pollution, fuel economy and
driving in section 2.
This light comes on when
the ignition is switched on
and
goes
out
within
approximately 3 seconds. If it lights
up with the SERVICE message, this
indicates a malfunction of the
electronic
stability
program.
Consult a Renault Dealer.
The lights remains lit for as long as
the electronic stability program is
inhibited (see section 2).
