CHANGING A WHEEL

Spare wheel
The spare wheel is located under
the vehicle.
To gain access to the spare wheel:
- Lift off the cover

- Remove cover

- Unscrew
it
fully
using
the
wheelbrace

Pull the wheel towards you and tilt
it slightly, press on the support as
indicated above to disengage the
support from the rim.
To replace the spare wheel:
Proceed in reverse order to removal,
placing the wheel valve side down.
Check that the support is correctly
centred
so
that
the
wheel
is
properly positioned in its housing.
Undo the bolts and take the wheel
off.
Fit the spare wheel in place on the
centre hub and turn it so that the
mounting holes for the wheel and
the hub are aligned.
Tighten
the
bolts
using
the
wheelbrace and lower the jack.
If you have a puncture,
replace the wheel as soon
as possible.
A tyre which has been
punctured should always be
inspected
(and
repaired
if
possible) by a specialist.
Put the flat tyre in the boot. Do
not attach it to the underbody.
If the spare wheel has been
stored for several years, have it
checked by your Dealer to ensure
that it is safe to use.
