AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING

De-icing/demisting (“See clear”
button)
- Pressing button

the demisting/de-icing mode. The
indicator light in the button will
light up. The indicator light in
button

will go out. The air
conditioning system is no longer
operating
in
automatic
air
distribution mode.
Pressing the button a second time
activates the
See clear
function (two
indicator lights come on). It allows
fast demisting and de-icing of the
windscreen
and
front
side
windows. The temperature display
goes out.
This button starts all the air
conditioning functions automatically,
thus providing the best possible
demisting/de-icing.
However,
it
prohibits the use of air recirculation.
De-icing of the rear screen, the
windscreen
and
the
electric
rear-view mirrors is also activated.
The best possible flow of air is then
directed towards the windscreen
and front window air outlets.
After a few minutes, operation
reverts to demisting/de-icing.
To deselect this mode, press the
button again (you will return to
1a

or select one of the distribution
buttons

Electrical
de-icing
of
the
windscreen and the rear screen
Press button

This function demists and de-ices
the
windscreen,
the
rear-view
mirrors and the rear window very
quickly.
There are two ways to switch this
function off:
• it
stops
automatically
after
operating for around:
- a maximum of 12 minutes for
the windscreen (time varies
according to the conditions)
- 12 minutes for the rear screen
and the rear-view mirrors
• it stops when you press the key on
the instrument panel.
The operation indicator light goes
out.
