Difference
in
temperatures
selected
- If, for example, there is too great a
difference
between
the
air
temperature
selected
by
the
right-hand side occupant and that
selected by the left-hand-side
occupant,
the
person
in
the
left-hand seat may feel a change in
the air temperature. This can be
adjusted using buttons
5
and
8
of
the driver's control unit until the
required comfort level is obtained.
The system will ensure that this
level is maintained.
- It is not advisable to select
MINIMUM
on one side and
MAXIMUM
on the other at the
same time.
Storing data
If the ignition has been switched off
for less than 15 minutes, the system
retains the same setting as was in
use
before
the
ignition
was
switched off when the ignition is
switched on again.
If the ignition has been switched off
for more than 15 minutes, the
system will adopt the comfort level
selected by the driver for both sides
of the vehicle.
Fuel consumption
You
will
normally
notice
an
increase
in
fuel
consumption
(especially in the urban cycle) when
the air conditioning is operating.
Use air conditioning occasionally in
winter to maintain the system in
correct working order.
Do not worry about any water
which
may
appear
from
underneath the vehicle as this
results from condensation.
No cool air
Check that the controls are set
correctly and that the fuses are in
good condition. If both these points
are correct, switch off the system
and consult a Renault Dealer.
Do
not
open
the
refrigerant circuit: this
may cause injuries to the
eyes or skin.
Battery
Avoid using the rear screen de-icer
and/or
the
electric
windscreen
de-icer when the engine is switched
off.
As
with
all
electrical
consumers,
this
discharges
the
battery unnecessarily.
Faults
In general, if you notice that
de-icing,
demisting
or
air
conditioning
has
become
less
effective, this may be caused by a
clogged
particle
filter
element.
Consult your Renault Dealer.
