Sync
Synchronizes input channel and microphone
To synchronize a microphone, switch it on and point its infrared interface
towards the mixer’s infrared interface (max. 15 cm distance). Make sure
there are no obstacles between the interfaces. The indication
>>>>>>
will pulsate during IR transmission.
AFS
Automatic channel scan
Perform the automatic channel scan to select an interferencefree radio
frequency for the input channel. The indication
>>>>>>
will pulsate
during the scan. There are 2 frequency ranges with a total of 90
channels available. The channels are factory preset and cannot be
changed. Leave microphones that have already been set to radio
frequency switched on before performing the scan.
Group/Channel
Adjusts the channel manually
It is possible to manually adjust the transmission channel. However,
these channels may not be intermodulationfree. In any case, make sure
that each microphone channel is set to a different transmission channel.
There are 2 frequency ranges with a total of 90 channels available for
wireless transmission. To facilitate the setup of the system, the
channels are divided into 10 groups. Each of the groups accommodates
factorypreset channels which cannot be changed. The corresponding
frequencies can be found in the table on page 40.
Squelch
Adjusts the squelch threshold between 0 dB an 35 dB
The squelch will mute the receiver when the level of the radio signal
received falls below the threshold value adjusted. Thus, highfrequency
hissing noise will not cause noise at the receiver when the transmitter is
switched off or when the transmission power is insufficient. With a longer
distance between microphone and receiver, a lower value should be
selected. With a shorter distance, a higher value is applicable.
Level
Adjusts the microphone’s gain between 0 dB and 25 dB
Use the gain setting to readjust sensitivity and thus the volume level of
the microphone. Reduce the sensitivity if the volume of the signal is too
high and thus distorted. Increase the sensitivity if the volume is too low
and a poor S/N ratio results.
