Interconnecting automatic mixers
Couple two automatic mixers through the
AUDIO LINK
and
DATA LINK
jacks.
In order to work with up to 8 microphone channels, it is possible to interconnect two automatic
mixers. Matching link cables are included.
It is technically feasible to link up to 5 mixers. However, due to the frequency ranges, only a
parallel operation of 8 microphone channels can be guaranteed.
For the audio link, connect the
AUDIO LINK
jack of the master unit crosswise to the slave unit.
For the data link, connect the
DATA LINK
jack of the master unit crosswise to the slave unit. Then,
connect the free
DATA LINK
jack of the (last) slave unit to the free
DATA LINK
jack of the master
unit.
The master unit operates like a mixer: The XLR output jack provides the mixed signal of all wireless
microphones. Whereas slave units only provide their own signal sources.
