17. Flip function
The quadrocopter is also designed to do flips, if desired. You should fly the first flips outside when there is absolutely
no wind. To do this, let the quadrocopter climb to a safe altitude of approx. 5 - 6 m and then hover in position.
To switch the transmitter to flip mode, press the joystick
for the bob and roll function from above (see also Figure
1, no. 4).
Once the transmitter has switched to flip mode, it will emit
short beeps in quick succession for approx. 3 – 4 seconds.
While the transmitter is beeping, quickly move the joystick
for the bob and roll function as far as it will go in the direc-
tion in which the quadrocopter should flip and then imme
-
diately pull the joystick back to the centre position.
The quadrocopter executes the flip in the desired direc
-
tion, and then returns to hover flight mode.
To be able to do another flip, push the button for flip mode
again.
The flip function is only active when the transmitter emits beeps. After that, the transmitter automatically
disables flip mode.
