9. Using the transmitter
The numbers used in these instructions refer to the illustration alongside the text or the illustrations within
the respective section. For this reason, the same number represents different locations and different ele-
ments in different images. Cross-references to other figures are indicated with the corresponding number.
a) Inserting the batteries
To power the transmitter, you need 4 AAA/Micro batteries.
Important:
Use only standard batteries (1.5 V/cell) and not rechargeable batteries (1.2 V/cell) as the power supply for
the transmitter.
To insert the batteries, proceed as follows:
Loosen the retaining screw (1) on the battery compart-
ment cover (2) on the back of the transmitter with a suit-
able screwdriver.
Press the corrugated surface (3) and slide the battery
compartment cover off upwards.
Insert 4 AAA/Micro type batteries with correct polarity fol-
lowing the instructions on the bottom of the battery com-
partment (4). The spiral spring contact (5) must always be
connected to the negative pole of the battery.
Slide the battery compartment cover back in from below
until it snaps into the transmitter case.
Then tighten the retaining screw on the battery compart-
ment cover (1) again.
