15. Troubleshooting
Even though the model and the remote control system were built to the state of the art, there may still be malfunctions
or faults. For this reason, we would like to give you some information on how to deal with possible problems.
Problem
Transmitter doesn’t respond.
Transmitter switches off on its own
at once of after a short period.
Model does not react, LED in the
helicopter flashes slowly.
Rotors do not start.
Helicopter does not lift off the
ground.
Helicopter shows too little
performance or too short flight
times.
Helicopter always flies in one
direction.
Helicopter rotates around the
vertical axis (rotor shaft).
Remedy
• Check the batteries in the transmitter.
• Check the polarity of the batteries in the transmitter.
• Check the on/off switch.
• Check or replace the batteries in the transmitter.
• Perform binding.
• Check flight battery charging state.
• Check ease of movement of the mechanics.
• Check flight battery charging state.
• Check ease of movement of the drive mechanics.
• Replace flight battery.
• Check flight battery charging state.
• Check ease of movement of the drive mechanics.
• Replace flight battery.
• Adjust transmitter trimming.
• Adjust swash plate.
• Difficult flight conditions (wind or draft)
• Repeat switching on and ensure that the helicopter is not moved or
rotated.
• Adjust trimming
• Check ease of movement of the drive mechanics.
