12. Binding Function
Transmitter and receiver are already aligned with each other and can be used at once. If the flight battery is connected
with the transmitter switched on, the LED on the helicopter circuit board flashes (see figure 8, item 1) quickly for 5
seconds at first, and then is lit permanently.
If the LED in the model helicopter continues to flash slowly after 5 seconds, the alignment between transmitter and
receiver is defective. In this case, the binding function must be repeated.
Proceed as follows:
• Disconnect the flight battery from the helicopter and switch off the transmitter.
• Connect the charged flight battery to the helicopter with the transmitter switched off. The LED on the helicopter
circuit board flashes quickly for 5 seconds.
• Within these 5 seconds, press (like when switching for reducing control sensitivity) the control stick for the pitch and
tail functions (also see figure 1, item 8) from above and switch on the transmitter with the control stick pressed.
When the transmitter is switched on, the LED on the helicopter circuit board is lit permanently.
• Release the control stick at once again. The transmitter now emits several short signal sounds during binding, and
the LED display in the transmitter flashes red and green alternatingly.
• When binding is complete, the signal sound goes out and the LED display in the transmitter is lit red permanently.
The LED display in the helicopter goes out briefly in this moment and then is also lit permanently.
• Now the model is ready for operation.
