i) Mounting the Elevator and Rudder Servos
Move the Bowden tube sleeves (1) until the distance to the solder sleeves is 25
mm (see figure 16).
Then draw the sleeves in the fuselage area according to the adjacent figure and
cut the tube off at the mark (also see figure 18).
The linkage wires (2) must be shortened so that they protrude from the sleeves by
about 50 mm. The rudders must be in the centre positions.
After installation of the servos and setting of the rudder deflections, the linkage
wires can be shortened to the final length.
Insert the servo for the two elevators (1) and the servo for the rudder (2) in the
prepared servo board. If required, enlarge the servo cut-out.
The servo levers with stationary bolts (3) are installed according to the same
process as for the aileron linkage. Observe the 90° position of the servo lever to
the linkage wire.
Then align the servos so that the linkage wires run as straight as possible and
screw on the servos. The screw holes must be reinforced with liquid superglue
after pre-drilling.
Finally, align the Bowden tubes and glue them tightly to the fuselage in the front
area (4) and at the rear at the fuselage exit (5).
