The following components not included in delivery are required for assembly and operation:
Assembly:
Soldering gun, balsa cutter, scissors, wire cutter, mini-drill with different bits, screwdriver, Allen key, foil pen, 2-minute epoxy glue, if needed thixotropic agent
(micro balloons or cotton flocks) to thicken the glue, superglue, adhesive film, sandpaper, flat-iron and double-sided adhesive tape.
Attention!
Observe the safety information of the respective manufacturer when using glues and work with glues in well-ventilated rooms only. Gluing balsa
wood with superglue leads to the formation of caustic vapour that can be highly damaging to health.
Operation:
For equipment or flying, the following components are also required (examples from our delivery range in brackets):
• Remote control system with at least 4 channels (e.g. Conrad item no. 206235)
• 4 micro servos (e.g. BSM 380, Conrad item no. 229704)
• 2 servo extension cable (e.g. Conrad item no. 223742)
• Electric motor (e.g. Conrad item no. 208764)
• Speed controller* (e.g. Conrad item no. 208787)
• Flight battery* (e.g. Conrad item no. 209255)
• Propeller** (e.g. Conrad item no. 233936)
*
The flight battery and speed controller must be applied with the high-current plug connectors used by you.
** When using the recommended motor, the model has enormous power reserves; however, the propeller included with the model is a little too small then.
