ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES
It is not unusual that over a period of time due to usage, troubleshooting, making repairs or
replacement of parts that certain components may require periodic adjustments to maintain
the factory type performance. This section of the manual is offered to assist you in making
the necessary adjustments.
ADJUSTMENTS TO HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
(TEST GAUGES)
The 00 MODEL C50SS concrete pump has undergone an extensive quality control inspection and testing
phase during the manufacturing process prior to being shipped. All the required settings and adjustments to
provide an efficient and safe operating machine have been made. The various pressure settings and
adjustments should
NOT BE ALTERED . However, it may be necessary through the course of using the
machine or replacement of parts to check and reset the pressure settings to the factory established guidelines.
This should only be done by
QUALIFIED MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL who understand the systems. The
following is offered to assist in accomplishing the task.
The unit is equipped with a test port which is used to
install a test gauge. To perform the following checks
and adjustments, the following test gauges may be
required.
TEST GAUGE #1 – This test gauge consists of a small diameter hose having one end
connected to a 0-1000 PSI (0-70 Bar) hydraulic pressure gauge and
the other end containing a female adapter.
TEST GAUGE #2 – This test gauge consists of same set up as GAUGE 1 except the
gauge is a 0-6000 PSI (0-420 Bar) hydraulic pressure gauge is used.
The TEST GAUGE KITS are available from the REED Parts Department.
