Standard Operating Procedure for Automatic Programs
1. Measure ingredients according to the recipe.
2.
Fill the bowl with ingredients and place it inside the device. Make sure
that all ingredients including the liquids are below the scale mark indicat
-
ing maximum capacity. The bowl must be installed without any distortion
and make full contact with the heating element.
3. Close the lid until it clicks into place. Plug in the unit.
4.
Press “Меню” button repeatedly to select the program (corresponding
program indicator lights up).
5.
Select the subprogram by pressing the “Вид продукта” button (for
“МУЛЬТИПОВАР”, “ПАР”, “ЖАРКА”) or “Варка” button (for “ВАРКА” program).
Default cooking time for each subprogram is displayed.
6.
Adjust the cooking time if required.
7.
Delay the program if required.
8.
Press “Старт” button to begin cooking. “Старт” and “Поддержание тепла /
Отмена” button indicators light up. Cooking time starts to count down.
9. When cooking time elapses the device makes an audible sound and enters the
“Keep Warm” mode (“Поддержание тепла / Отмена”) button indicator lights up).
10.
Press “Поддержание тепла / Отмена” button to disable the “Keep Warm”
function, to interrupt or to cancel the cooking program.
“Time Delay” function is not available in “ЖАРКА” and “ПАСТА” programs.
The countdown of the cooking time in “ПАР” program begins only when water
comes to a full boil providing enough steam; in “МУЛЬТИПОВАР”and “ЖАРКА”
— when device reaches its operating temperature; in “ПАСТА” — when water
comes to a full boil, ingredients are added, and “Старт” button is being repressed.
“МУЛЬТИПОВАР” Program
This program can be used to cook any meal with your individual time and
temperature settings. Thanks to this versatile program installed, REDMOND
RMC-M4502 can function as a number of different kitchen appliances. The
program allows adjusting any recipe of your choice for the device.
Default time depends on the type of product selected: “VEGETABLES” (“ОВОЩИ”),
“MEAT” (“МЯСО”), “FISH” (“РЫБА”). Default temperature is 160°С.
Time adjustment range is from 5 minutes to 12 hours in 1 minute intervals for
the period of time less than 1 hour and 5 minute intervals for over an hour.
Temperature adjustment range (use “Температура” button to adjust) is from 40
to 160°С in 20°С intervals.
“ПАР” Program
This program is recommended for steaming meat, fish, vegetables, baby food,
etc. Default time depends on the subprogram selected: “VEGETABLES” (“ОВОЩИ”),
“MEAT” (“МЯСО”), “FISH” (“РЫБА”). Cooking time can be manually adjusted from
5 minutes to 1 hour in 1 minute intervals.
Use the steaming container provided to steam foods.

Fill the bowl with 600–1000 ml of water. Install the steaming container.
2. Measure ingredients according to the recipe and place them inside the
steaming container. Put the bowl inside the device. The bowl must make
full contact with the heating element.

“ЖАРКА” Program
This program is recommended for frying meat, fish, vegetables, seafood, etc.
Default time depends on the type of product selected: “VEGETABLES” (“ОВОЩИ”),
“MEAT” (“МЯСО”), “FISH” (“РЫБА”). Cooking time can be manually adjusted from
5 minutes to 1 hour in 1 minute intervals. Frying with an open lid is allowed.
“ТУШЕНИЕ” Program
This program is recommended for making meat, fish, and vegetable stews,
jellied meat, and other slow cooked dishes. Cooking time can be manually
adjusted from 10 minutes to 12 hours in 5 minute intervals.
“ВАРКА” Program
This program is recommended for cooking rice and other grains. Default time
depends on the subprogram selected: “ЭКСПРЕСС” (“EXPRESS”), “ОБЫЧНАЯ”
(“COOK”), “КАША” (“OATMEAL”). Cooking time can be manually adjusted from 5
minutes to 1.5 hours in 1 minute intervals (“ВАРКА-ЭКСПРЕСС”, “ВАРКА-КАША”)
and from 30 minutes to 2 hours in 5 minute intervals (“ВАРКА-ОБЫЧНАЯ”).
To avoid milk boiling away, we recommend you to do the following:
• rinse grain thoroughly before cooking;
•
grease the sides of the bowl with butter;
•
follow proportions suggested in the recipe book. Increase or reduce amount
of ingredients proportionally;
•
using whole milk dilute it by half with water.
“ПАСТА” Program
The program is recommended for cooking pasta, eggs, sausages, etc. Cooking
time can be manually adjusted from 2 to 20 minutes in 1 minute intervals. An
audible signal indicates that the water has come to a full boil. Add ingredients,
close the lid, and press “Старт” button. The timer starts to count down the re

maining cooking time.
When cooking foods that can foam (pasta, etc.) leave the lid open to avoid
boiling away.
“СУП” Program
This program is recommended for coking different soups, broths, and drinks.
Cooking time can be manually adjusted from 10 minutes to 8 hours in 5 minute
intervals.
“ВЫПЕЧКА” Program
This program is recommended for baking pies, cakes, puddings, etc. Cooking
time can be manually adjusted from 30 minutes to 4 hours in 5 minute intervals.
III. CLEANING AND GENERAL MAIN

TENANCE GUIDELINES
Before you start cleaning the device, make sure that it is unplugged and has
cooled down. Prior to first use or in order to remove the odor, wipe the bowl
and the inner lid of the device with vinegar-water solution and steam half a
lemon for 15 minutes using “ПАР-РЫБА” program.
Use soft cloth and mild soap to clean. We recommend cleaning the appliance
after each use.
Do not use a sponge with hard or abrasive surface; solvent and abrasive clean-
ing methods are not allowed. Do not immerse the device in water or wash it
under running water.
Clean the housing of the device as needed. Wash the bowl after each use. The bowl
is dishwasher safe. By the end of cleaning wipe the outer surface of the bowl dry.
We recommend cleaning inner aluminum lid, steam release valve, and removing
condensation after each use.
Press two plastic holders located on the inner side of the main lid and gently
pull the inner lid down to remove. Clean the surfaces of both lids and wipe
them dry. Slide the inner lid into corresponding slots on the main lid. Gently
push the holders until the lid clicks back into place.
Pull the steam release valve up holding it by the cover to remove. Move the
locker in direction of an arrow to remove the steam valve cover. Rinse and dry
the parts, reassemble the steam valve, and place it back into the lid, with the
extraction tip facing the back. Condensation may accumulate in the special
cavity around the bowl. Use cloth or tissue to remove.

V. PRODUCT WARRANTY
We warrant this product to be free from defects for a period of 25 months from
the date of purchase. If the appliance fails to operate properly within the war
-
ranty period and is found to be defective in material or workmanship, we will
repair or replace it free of charge. This warranty comes into force only in case
an original warranty service coupon with a serial article number and an accurate
impress of the company of the seller proves the purchase date. This limited
warranty does not cover damage caused by the failure to use this product for
its normal purpose or in accordance with the instructions on the proper use
and maintenance of the product or any kind of repair works. Do not try to disas
-
semble the device and keep all package contents. This warranty does not
cover normal wear of the device and its parts (filters, bulbs, ceramic, Teflon, and
other kinds of non-stick coatings, rubber parts etc.).
Service life and the applicable product warranty period start on the date of
purchase or the date of manufacture (if the purchase date cannot be established).
You can determine manufacture date by serial number, located on the identifi
-
cation label on the housing of the device. The serial number consists of 13
digits. 6th and 7th digits of the serial number identify the month, 8th digit the
year of manufacture.
Service life of the product, established by the manufacturer is 5 years from the
date of purchase, provided that the unit is used and maintained in accordance
with the user manual and applicable technical standards.
The packaging, user manual and the device itself may not be treated as house-
hold waste. Instead, it shall be taken to the applicable collection point for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
