FCC & IC Information
1 - This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A
digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is
operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate
radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction
manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this
equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the
user will be required to correct the interference at his/her own expense.
2 - A
Class A digital device is marketed for use in a commercial, industrial or
business environment, exclusive of a device which is marketed for use by the
general public or is intended to be used in the home.
3 - Intentional or unintentional changes or modifications not expressly approved by the
party responsible for compliance must not be made. Any such modifications could void
the user’s authority to operate the equipment and will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
UL Information
1 - Caution for all AC and DC models - Double Pole/Neutral Fusing.
2 - The DC source must be fused at Time Delay 2.5A, 250V.
3 - The DC input wiring must be 18 AWG minimum.
4 - The DC powered unit wiring is secured and chassis grounded using the following
parts:
a) Internal Grounding: Ground wire: 18 AWG, 600V, style 1015, Green/Yellow
with ring terminal. Nut size: #6-32 Hex Machine. Washer size: #6 Flat Washer,
and #6 Internal Tooth Lockwasher. These are assembled onto #6-32 stud
mounted to the chassis.
b) External Grounding: Ground wire: 18 AWG, 600V (not supplied). Nut size: Part
of chassis. Screw size: 6-32 X 7/16, PPHMS, SEMS, Internal, Zinc. Washer size:
Part of screw.
5 - The DC input source must be SELV.
6 - The DC input source must comply with the US National Electrical Code in the US and
the Canadian Electric Code in Canada.
