6.0 LOADING THE EASY SPREAD
Loading the Easy Spread is done by lowering the bucket and scooping the gritting material
(Figure 11)

The procedure is as follows

Drive the machine in a raised position to the gritting material to be used.

Lower the wheels of the Easy Spread to the ground.

Position the Easy Spread bucket horizontally.

Drive the tractor with the bucket backwards into the material to be loaded.

When the bucket hits the material. Slowly tilt the bucket upwards
Lifting too much material can damage the Easy Spread!

Load the bucket by rotating the bucket back to a vertical position.

Carefully lift the Easy Spread with the lifting device of the tractor.
Mount front weights to the nose of the tractor in case of doubting the
stability of the tractor – Easy Spread combination!
When the machine is raised off the ground, the front axle of the tractor
has to support minimum 20% of its weight!
