Training and end user demonstration of maintenance and adjustment
procedures
Cleaning the exchanger and the compartment under the brazier is a simple yet very important operation to
ensure the performance declared by RED at all times.
Every two or three days, we therefore recommend you clean the internal heat exchanger, following these
few simple steps in order:

Enable the
“
CLEANING
”
function
– with the boiler in the
“OFF”
position press any key and the
word
“MENU”
will appear on the screen. Press the key for
“MENU”
and use the key on the bottom
right hand side to scroll through until the word
“SETTING”
appears, press
“SET”
and scroll again
using the keys below until the word
“CLEANING”
appears, press set and select
“ON”
, and then
press
“OK”
to confirm. This procedure starts the smoke blower on maximum in order to expel the
soot that becomes dislodged when the exchanger is cleaned.

Disable the “CLEANING” function
the screen for enabled cleaning will appear during the
“CLEANING”
function; press
“ESC”
to disable it.
You must read this manual carefully, long with the main characteristics of the system modules. You need to
be familiar with the operating process of the boiler and of the burner, i.e. the start-up, the operation, the
shutdown, the ash removal, etc.
The maintenance procedures to operate the boiler efficiently and to maintain reliability at top levels must be
illustrated and instructed to the end user. The fitter must also demonstrate and teach the end user how to
