MOD Live User Manual

Firmware Upgrade

MAKE SURE YOUR UNIT IS FULLY CHARgED BEFORE YOU START.

WARNING: If your battery is not sufficiently charged and

MOD Live loses power during the upgrade, your unit can be

permanently damaged. Charge up MOD Live’s battery before you

start.

Upgrading can corrupt trip files. Before you start, download all

trip data from MOD Live to HQ.

PART 1.

Follow these steps to upgrade MOD Live using the HQ

application:

Plug MOD Live into your computer. Make sure to use the

Transcend USB cable and not a third-party cable.

2. Power on MOD Live.
3.

Start HQ. On HQ, a prompt appears notifying you of new

firmware and asking if you want to update now.

Click Yes to initiate the upgrade process. A status bar displays

the progress.

When the Transfer Complete popup appears, click on OK.
