MOD LIVE  BATTERY

MOD Live FAQ

How can I get a full charge?

Steps to take:
•  Check that you are using the Recon AC adapter and USB cable included in the MOD Live box.
•  Check that the AC cable says Recon Instruments.
•  Check that the MOD LIVE power is turned off.
•  Check that the red light above the USB port appears.

This shows that MOD LIVE is still charging.

•  Check that your PC or Mac is turned on and not in standby mode.
•  Check that the port on your PC or Mac is a USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard port).

Why does my battery drain so quickly?

There are reasons why a battery can drain quickly. Extremely low temperatures can cause a quick

drain. At -10°C  (14°F), a fully charged battery lasts between 6 to 8 hours. If the temperature dips

below -20°C (-4°F), the charge won’t last as long. Using Bluetooth features can also lead to a

quick drain.

Tips to prolong battery life:

•

Choose DISPLAY OFF mode.

•  Lower the brightness setting.
•  Limit using Bluetooth connectivity features such as MUSIC, PHONE, and BUDDY TRACKING.
•

Avoid using MOD Live at temperatures below -20°C (-4°F).
