Battery

BATTERY CARE

Your battery is designed to last up to three years. Follow these

tips on battery care:
• Never recharge the battery in temperatures below 0°C or

above 40° C.

• Allow enough time for MOD Live to warm up and reach

ambient room temperature before you recharge.

• Never use a different AC adapter and USB cable than what

was shipped with the unit.

• Use DISPLAY OFF mode when you aren’t checking looking

at the dashboard or stats.

RECHARGING THE BATTERY

NOTE: Whenever the battery warning popup appears, your

unit will be automatically shut down unless you recharge it

immediately. Recharge the battery immediately to avoid losing

data. The battery must be recharged within ten days.

Before You Start

1. Use the Recon AC adapter and USB cable included in

the MOD Live box. Check that the AC cable says Recon

Instruments.

Check that the port on your PC or Mac is a USB 2.0 port

(not a keyboard port).
