Troubleshooting a quick drain:

•  Check that you are using the Recon AC adapter and USB cable included in the MOD LIVE box. 
•  Check that the AC cable says Recon Instruments. 
•  Check that the MOD Live power is turned off.
•  Check that the red light above the USB port appears. This shows that MOD LIVE is still 

charging.

•  Check that your PC or Mac is turned on and not in standby mode.
•  Check that the port on your PC or Mac is a USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard port).

Why won’t my PC or Mac won’t recognize MOD LIvE when I try to charge it or transfer data?

Steps to take:

1. 

Check the port you are using on your PC or Mac. Use the USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard port).

2. 

Check that the USB cable connection is tight. Unplug it and then plug it back in.

3. 

Unplug MOD Live from your PC or Mac, and then restart MOD LIVE: turn the power off, wait 

a few seconds, and then turn the power on. Then try plugging the USB cable in again.
