CS-45 Coal Burning Stove

A. The Controls

The heat output or rate of combustion is con-
trolled by the

primary

combustion

air control.

[See Picture 19:1.] When the lever is pulled
toward the front of the stove, the setting is "high
burn." When the lever is pushed toward the back
of the stove, the setting is "low burn"

A.1 The Stove Tool

Each CS-45 comes with a multi-function stove
tool. [See Picture 19.2.] The hook on the tool,
A, is used to open the coal hopper lid. The flat
end of the tool, B, is used to unlock the ash
door. The square cut out on the tool, C, is used
to shake the grate to remove ashes.
