Installing the outer and inner unit

This describes installation of outer unit for ASSA’s lock housing 2002.

To simplify the process for the installer, the lock is always unlocked until it is in operation.
4.1
Begin by installing and screwing in the
lock cylinders, the inner using the
accompanying 17 mm cylinder
extender; the outer with the 27 mm.
Also fit cylinder sleeves to the inner and
outer lock cylinders.
4.2
Thread the cabling from the outer unit
through the door under the lock
housing.
Ensure there is enough space. If not,
adjustments must be made –
see page 8.
The outer unit can now hang on the
lock cylinder.
4.3
Loosen and remove the cover from the
inner unit.
(Allen 3 mm)
Save the screws for later re-installation.
