Control boxes
Control boxes are displayed by clicking the Controls tab
located next to the Tools tab.
The control box contains the softkeys to initiate an action
within the chosen application.
The softkeys are operated by placing the cursor over the one
you want to operate and clicking the trackball button. In
many cases this will display the next level of softkey options
which are controlled in the same manner.
Control boxes can be closed by clicking the cross at the top
right of the panel. The cross will be enlarged as you place the
cursor over it, making operation easy and accurate in
difficult sea conditions.
Manual adjustment
When certain softkeys are clicked and the function
is changed to manual mode, a manual adjustment
box is displayed.
To adjust the function, either drag the slider bar
until the required setting is achieved, or click the
minus or plus signs to change the setting one level
at a time until the required setting is achieved. The
level of setting is displayed as a numeric value in
the bottom center of the box.
