9 ACCESSORIES
9.5 VERTI-GROOM DRIVE BELT __________________________________________
The drive belt is found on the right side of the machine. To
access, remove the lid from the drive belt housing.
ADJUST THE VERTI-GROOM DRIVE BELT:
Loosen the belt tensioner. Apply a force of 2.2Kgs
(5lbs) in the centre of the lower length [A]. Set the belt
tension to a deflection of 5mm (3/
16
in).
REPLACE THE VERTI-GROOM BELT
1. Pull on the clutch knob to disengage Verti-Groom
drive clutch. Move the belt into the gap. Move the
drive belt pulley lip on to the Verti-Groom shaft.
2. Clear dirt out of pulley.
3. Put the Verti-Groom drive belt on to the Verti-Groom clutch handwheel and pulley. Put the new belt over
the Verti-Groom shaft pulley. Turn the clutch handwheel to put the drive belt on to the pullley.
4. Adjust - see above.
5. Replace all The covers before you run the machine.
9.6 VERTI-GROOM LUBRICATION_________________________________________
Check all nuts and bolts every 75 hours.
Lubricate these points with general purpose Lithium
grease.
Each week or every 25-work hours.
