9.4 VERTI-GROOM ATTACHMENT ________________________________________
ADJUSTMENTS: Machine Set up..
VERTI-GROOM SETTINGS
The Verti-Groom reel must be parallel to the bottom
blade.
1. Make sure that the Verti-Groom handwheels are in
the down position.
2. Use the height of cut bar to set the Verti-Groom
height. Release the locknuts [A], use the
handwheels [B].
To lift the Verti-Groom reel, turn [B] to the right
side.To lower the Verti-Groom reel, turn [B] to the left
side. Use a spacer of a maximum of 5mm (3/16in) to
set the height of the Verti-Groom reel.
3. When the adjustment is complete, the needed height is set on both sides, and the Verti-Groom is parallel to
the front roll. Tighten the locknuts.
NOTE: The manufacturer recommends a start position of 3mm (1/8in) above the front roll. The machine must be
tried on a green and the Verti-Groom reel position changed to give the needed result.
