8 ADJUSTMENTS
8.8 CONCAVE ADJUSTMENT ____________________________________________
If the grass clippings do not enter the grass box, the
concave needs adjustment.
1. Make sure that the concave aligns correctly with the
edge of the bottom block.
2. Loosen the screws [A] which fasten the concave to
the top deck.
3. Move the concave until there is approximately 1.5
mm (1/16in) between the concave and the cutting
cylinder. Measure from the centre point of the
cylinder. You can reverse the hinge brackets to set the correct gap. Tighten the screws [A].
4. You must keep a 1.5 mm (1/16in) gap between the concave and the cylinder. You will need to flatten the
concave to keep this gap as the cutting cylinder wears.
8.9 LANDROLL SCRAPER _______________________________________________
To adjust the scraper, loosen the screws (A) and adjust its
position. Tighten the screws.
IMPORTANT
The concave must not touch the cutting cylinder.
