LANDROLL CLUTCH ADJUSTMENTS __________________________________
Loosen the locknut (A) and rotate the adjuster (B) until the
lever (C)
touches the pin (D).
Loosen the adjuster (B) one complete turn so that the lever
does not make contact with the pin.
Tighten the locknuts to lock the adjustment in thisposition.
8.11 CHAIN
ADJUSTMENTS _______________________________________________
Remove the chain case cover to access the chains. The
chains need a degree of free movement Measure at the
center of the longest side. This free movement must not
be more than half the height of the chain from its centre
line. Make sure each chain is free from tight sections.
Replace the chains as required.
Check the chains for tight runs.
To adjust.
Chain A:
The chain adjusters [D] and [E] automatically adjust the chain [A].
Chain B:
Loosen the nuts [H] and rotate the adjuster [G] until
the guide [J] has tension on the Spring [K].
Tighten the nuts [H].
Chain C:
Loosen the nuts [L]. Rotate the guide [M] until there is no free
movement in the chain. a
NOTE: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
Check there are no tight sections on any of the chains. Replace the chain case.
